10/21/25 - Teamsters Local 776 It’s over! After 45 days on strike, the members at RISE Dispensary in York ratified their first Teamster Contract. This new contract takes away the at-will status. It installs the just cause and due process afforded under Union contracts, along with other job improvements that they were not afforded previously. |

Ulster is the ONLY county in New York getting this type of build. Verizon has been granted BEAD money in other locations in New York but on a much smaller scale. This would have been a much larger build in New York if the fiber preference was not removed. |

Sysco Tentative Agreement Reached
