Terra Cotta and Suspended Scaffold Training
As the list of aging buildings and structures increases, so does the demand for qualified masons who have the necessary skill and knowledge in the work of maintaining them. This work is usually performed on Suspended Scaffolds and often includes the BAC crafts of Brick, PCC, Marble and Plaster. Training to do this work will expand employment opportunities for our members and the ability to do this work safely.
The DCTC is offering Terra Cotta for Bricklayers & Tuckpointers (DATES TBA) 7:00am - 3:30pm
and Suspended Scaffold Training for all members on (DATES TBA) 7:00am - 3:30pm.
- Tera Cotta training is designed to provide basic knowledge of Terra Cotta removal and Installation
- Suspended Scaffold Training course attendees will learn to identify the hazards of working on suspended scaffolds and participate in correctly assembling, operating working on the scaffold
